Essency Environmental was hired by the City of Redmond, WA to conduct performance monitoring of the lower Bear Creek rehabilitation project.  Our work includes monitoring and documentation of vegetation, stream habitat, channel stability, wetland creation, and invasive plant coverage. This project is intended to improve in-channel and riparian fish and wildlife habitat function and is partial mitigation for the WSDOT 520 improvement project. Bear Creek is an important tributary of the Lake Washington watershed.
